The token that passes the howey's test is considered as Security Token . It allows the investors to claim for a profit /share after the launch of STO process . Reserve Assets Token
The tokens that are backed by reserve of assets like Gold ,Real Estate ,etc ., are used by companies that trade the said assets to launch their STO are termed as reserve assets token .
Debt Token
The tokens that doesnot hold stocks or reserve assets , but involves the promise by the issuer for the payback to the investors , is known as debt tokens .
